Empowering indie authors across the nation by breaking down financial and technical barriers to publishing.
At The StoryForge Initiative, our mission is simple:
To make publishing accessible, affordable, and transparent for every storyteller.
Too many authors struggle to bring their books to life because the basics — like ISBNs, professional guidance, and web presence — are out of reach.
StoryForge is changing that.
We buy ISBNs in bulk and pass the savings directly to authors.
We provide tools, resources, and transparency to ensure every writer has a fair chance to publish and promote their work — without the gatekeeping or inflated costs that too often hold them back.
We purchase ISBNs in bulk and make them available at a low cost to indie authors who need them most.
We design affordable author websites and landing pages that help writers look professional and connect with readers.
We’re building a free online library of guides, templates, and tools to help authors navigate writing, editing, and publishing.
As we grow, our goal is to offer small grants to help cover editing, cover design, or marketing costs for independent authors.
StoryForge is built on transparency.
Every dollar we raise, every ISBN we distribute, and every partnership we form will be tracked and published monthly for the public to see.
We believe that trust is earned through openness — and that every author deserves to know how this system works.
“The StoryForge Initiative began with one simple belief — that stories deserve to be shared, not shelved because of financial barriers.
I started this project with my own funds and a promise to keep contributing every two weeks until it becomes self-sustaining.
This is my way of giving back to the writing community that changed my life.”— Christopher Schlosser, Founder
Whether you’re an author, reader, designer, or supporter — you’re welcome here.
Together, we’re building a system where creativity and community come first.
This isn’t a company. It’s a community.
And every story we help publish brings us one step closer to a world where every author has a voice.
